When the player character's party begins to explore the area near the peak, if any members have tracking abilities, they will soon notice that half of the goblin trail leads to the second cave entrance. This discovery foreshadows a battle to come, while also providing players with valuable information to help them prepare.
Random Encounter: Goblin Guard

 Encounter 1:

In the first cave, the player may encounter two goblin guards (HP: 5,5) armed with short swords and carrying wooden shields. The battle will test the reaction speed and fighting skills of the players. Use D20 to decide whether to hit an enemy or not, and then roll the dice based on the damage type of the selected weapon to determine the amount of damage dealt. For example, dagger damage is usually 1D6.

Encounter 2: 

In the rest of the exploration, the player may encounter a pair of goblins (HP: 4) riding two wolves (HP: 11), armed with spears and daggers. This scenario not only tests the player's combat ability, but also requires good cooperation between team members. If the character has riding skills, there will be an extra advantage in combat.

Encounter 3: 

The third encounter is a battle with three female goblins (HP: 4,4,2,1) and two goblin guards (HP: 6,3). These enemies are armed with wooden shields and mace. In combat, the female goblin has an AC (armor level) of 7, and when attacking with a dagger, it needs to roll D20 to determine whether it is hit, and if it is hit, roll D4 to determine the damage. Players need to be careful of these goblin raids, but also take care to protect themselves from attacks.

** Description 1: ** In a tunnel room 30 feet by 40 feet with a 10 foot high ceiling, players find four piles of animal skins that appear to be gnomes' beds. Next to each hide is a leather bag. In the center of the room sat four bipeds, about four feet tall, with yellow to brick-red skin, and lemon-yellow eyes. They carry the morning star and the wooden shield. Two of them appeared to be females, along with two large wolves. Gnomes have health values of 7 and 6, female gnomes have health values of 4 and 2, and wolves have health values of 14 and 12. After defeating these enemies, players are rewarded with 16 silver coins.

** Description 2: ** In another 30 by 40 foot tunnel room, there are two orange-skinned gnomes riding on giant wolves. They carry short swords and are equipped with wooden shields. Goblins have health of 6 and 5 respectively, while wolves have health of 17 and 12. After winning the battle, the player will receive 10 silver coins.

** Description 3: ** In the third 30 by 30 foot tunnel room, players encounter four goblins with health levels of 2, 4, 3, and 5. These goblins also have yellow to brick-red skin, pale yellow eyes, and hold morning stars and wooden shields. After defeating them, the player can earn 12 silver coins.

** Description 4: ** Finally, in a 30×50 foot tunnel room, the player encounters four goblins, each with an unknown health. These goblins are also equipped with Morning Stars and wooden shields. The layout inside the room is similar to the previous one, with hides and leather bags. At the end of the battle, the player may receive some silver coins as a reward.

  1. In such an adventure, players need to make full use of the dice in their hands to determine their fate. The D4, D6, D8, D10, D20, and D% dice all have their own uses. For example, the D20 is used to determine whether to hit a target, while the D6 might be used to calculate the damage done by the dagger.
