二.Second, production steps
(1) Prepare the resin mixture
First, we need to prepare the resin mixture. The off-white, fog-grey and black resins were placed in separate containers. The off-white resin will be the main color, and we will pour in a small amount of fog gray and black resin mixture. Next, gently stir the three resins with a stirring stick, taking care to create only a swirl pattern and avoid losing the marbled effect of the three colors completely mixing into a single hue.
(2) Add the mixture to the mold
When the resin mixture for the marble effect is ready, it is ready to be poured into the die mold. If you use a small cup, you may need to make it in two batches. It should be noted that if rapid curing occurs, it may cause harm. Rapid curing means mixing a large amount of resin and leaving it for 10 to 15 minutes, at which point the resin temperature can reach 400 degrees Fahrenheit and release chemicals that are harmful to health, so it is important to be careful when handling the resin.
(3) Curing and stripping
After the resin mixture is poured into the mold, it is allowed to cure in the mold overnight, approximately 24 hours. When the time is up and the project is completely dry, the mold can be carefully removed. If you find bubbles on the surface of the die after stripping, you can use sandpaper to smooth it.
